Mount unit
The unit requires two rack units of vertical space and fits in a 19” computing rack. Use the included mounting screws to secure the chassis to the computing rack posts.
Unplug the unit before mounting.
Mount antenna at the top of computing rack or near an external wall for best signal.
Avoid metal conduits and fluorescent light fixtures.
Mount the antenna at least 2 feet away from coiled cabling, electrical equipment, or other antennas.
Antenna cable must not be intertwined with other rack cables – power, Ethernet, etc..
Run the antenna cable up the side of the rack opposite (1) the majority of other cables; if both sides (2) have coiled cabling, route the antenna cable up the center of the rack.
Locate POTS lines and perform patching (cutover), if in scope
Once the unit and antenna are mounted, powered on, and functioning correctly, begin identifying in-scope lines and proceed with patching (cutover).
